The Grove Baptist Church Easter Appeal – Inside Out Prison Chaplaincy

Support from The Grove Baptist Church for Inside Out Prison Chaplaincy’s Easter Appeal

We are deeply grateful to The Grove Baptist Church for choosing to support Inside Out Prison Chaplaincy as part of their Easter Appeal. This partnership is vital in helping us continue our mission to transform the lives of men and women in prison.

Our chaplains are dedicated Christians who work tirelessly to break the cycle of reoffending. Within two years of release, 38% of prisoners will be back behind bars.

We aim to change this statistic by providing support that helps prisoners change their lives. This transformation is only possible through the generosity of our donors, prayer supporters, and the passionate commitment of our volunteer chaplains.

We also appreciate the minimal yet crucial government contributions that assist with chaplain travel costs and administration.

We believe that a prisoner’s journey of transformation requires continuous support, both during their time in prison and after their release. Our post-release mentoring services and the training of our chaplains do not receive any government funding. Every dollar donated goes directly to providing Inside Out Chaplaincy services. With a daily cost of around $190 for each person in prison, supporting people in custody and those leaving prison can potentially save $1.5 million for each 18-year-old we help prevent from returning to the system.

Our program relies heavily on donations and would not be as effective without your support. You can support Carinity by making a one-off donation or by having an amount deducted regularly from your credit card. Regular donations ensure continuity in our work for those in need.

Please support us by donating by credit card over the telephone – call us on (07) 3550 3737 or using the form below.

Inside Out Prison Chaplaincy is a volunteer organisation holding Deductible Gift Recipient status with the Australian Taxation Office and is recognised as a Public Benevolent Institution.
