Carinity Education operates four Special Assistance schools throughout Queensland. While each has its unique features, they all offer a supportive learning environment for students who have not found success in mainstream schooling. Carinity schools provide individualised support in a Christian setting. We provide flexible learning in a small class environment where staff and support workers are available to provide ready access to assistance.

Carinity schools include: Carinity Education Southside in Sunnybank offering years 7-12; Carinity Education Gladstone in Glen Eden offering years 7-12; Carinity Education Glendyne in Hervey Bay offering years 6-12; Carinity Education Rockhampton with a senior campus in Glenlee and a junior campus in Mt Chalmers.

Carinity Education also operates an independent school in Townsville,  Carinity Education Shalom. This school is designed to provide a culturally safe and supportive learning environment primarily for students from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds who live within the Townsville community.

Zara, Student at Glendyne

“Prior to enrolling at Carinity Education Glendyne I truly struggled to engage in any schooling activities. I believe Glendyne has been the key to my success in school now, I engage in classes and attend regularly.   I would like to thank Glendyne for the supportive staff and assistance I receive as this has enabled me to achieve some of my goals and look forward to a brighter future as I transition through my senior phase of learning.”
