Carinity Home Care Refer a Friend program – Terms and Conditions

The Refer a Friend program (the ‘Program’) is open to all existing home care customers, staff and Carinity retirement village residents (the ‘Referred’) of Carinity (the ‘Company’), living in the Aged Care Planning Regions Brisbane South, Logan, South Coast and West Moreton, who refer new home care package customers (the ‘Referee’) to sign up to Carinity Home Care on a Home Care Package.

Promoter: The Baptist Union Of Queensland – Carinity (ABN: 46 909 844 617), 53 Prospect Rd, Gaythorne Queensland 4051.

Promotion Period: This Promotion will commence 9 October 2024 and closes 4pm AEST 1 March 2025.

Eligibility:

For the Referrer and Referred to be eligible to receive a $100 VISA gift card the referral must satisfy the following criteria:

  • The Referrer provides valid contact details for the Referred
  • The Referrer has express consent by the Referred to provide their contact details to the Company, and
  • The Referred:
    • Has not currently or previously received in-home services from the Company
    • Agrees to have services provided by the Company under a Home Care Package agreement
    • Signs a Home Care Package agreement with the Company within three (3) months of the Referrer referring the Referred to the Company.
  • The Referrer and Referred details must be included at the time of the referral for both the Referrer and Referred to be eligible for the gift card.

Referral Criteria:

To be eligible for the Program, the Referred must be a new customer to the Company, who currently receives home care support through a home care package with another provider, and has not previously engaged with the Company’s services.

A Referrer can receive unlimited Referral Rewards under the Program.

Referral Process:

Referrers can refer friends, family, or acquaintances by providing the Company with contact details of both themselves and the Referred. The referral can via:

  • Phone: call the local Lifestyle Coordinator with Referred details;
  • Email: send Referred details via email to the local home care office;
  • In person: directly to a team member at the local home care office;
  • Printed referral form: complete the Refer a Friend referral form, and scan/email to the local home care office or deliver to the local home care office.
  • Online referral form: complete and submit the online referral form.

Reward Structure:

Upon the Referred successful signing of a home care package agreement with the Company, within three (3) months of the referral, the Referrer and Referred will be eligible to receive a Referral Reward of a $100 VISA gift card.

Referral Reward:

The Referral Reward is at $100 VISA gift card. The Company reserve the right to change the Referral Reward, to an equal value.

The Referral Reward is not redeemable for cash.

Exclusions:

The Program may not be combined with other promotions, discounts, or offers unless explicitly stated otherwise by the Company.

Fraudulent Activity:

The Company reserves the right to void any referrals or rewards earned through fraudulent or deceptive methods.

Termination or Modification:

The Company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.

Privacy and Data Protection:

By participating in the Program, both Referrer and Referred agree to the Company’s Privacy Policy and the use of their personal information for the purposes of the Program.

Liability:

The Company is not responsible for any errors, omissions, or technical malfunctions that may occur in connection with the Program.

Governing Law:

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Entire Agreement:

These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement as it relates to the Program.

Carinity reserves the right to change these terms and conditions or to discontinue the Program at any time.

By participating in the Program, Referrers and Referrals agree to abide by these terms and conditions. The Company reserves the right to interpret these terms and conditions and to make decisions at its sole discretion.
