In a premium location on a quiet street in the heart of the Ipswich CBD, Carinity Colthup Manor offers everything you need from an aged care community, with the essentials at your fingertips. We believe good food is essential for good health. Our chef loves cooking up beautiful fresh meals for our residents, along with a range of freshly baked cakes and sweets. With our chef on site, we make sure there’s something on the menu for everyone.
Colthup Manor grounds include a picture perfect Queenslander homestead nestled amongst modern buildings and beautiful gardens, including a secure courtyard. Our gardens are the perfect place to sit down, relax and enjoy the sunshine – or to pick up a trowel, for those with a green thumb!
Our new online applications make applying for aged care easier, simpler and faster. If you have any questions, please give us a call on 1300 109 109. You can also download a PDF or request a printed application.
There’s always something to do at Colthup Manor, and someone to talk to – and sometimes they might bark or cheep back! Residents enjoy monthly visits from our therapy dogs, and we have fish and budgies, and we encourage anyone interested to get involved in their care.
Being so close to the shops, we hold monthly assisted shopping trips for a spot of retail therapy. For those who prefer, we also have a Gift Shop on-site stocked with everything from gifts and cards, to chocolates and toiletries.
Our monthly Coffee Shop is well loved, with a selection of freshly baked sweets and savouries, as well as specialty teas and coffee. It’s a great opportunity for our residents to host their friends and family and socialise with others.
Ipswich Library also visits Colthup Manor on a monthly basis, with a wide selection of books to ensure there’s something to interest everyone. We also have regular movie nights, for those who love sitting down to watch a good film with some popcorn.
