About Retirement Living

Community living

Community is that indefinable sense of belonging and connectedness – a place where you feel at home, while keeping everything you love about your independence and personal space. As we grow older, surrounding yourself with the important things in life like friendships, independence and security, makes all the difference to your health and happiness.

There’s always a friendly face for a warm chat, as well as like-minded neighbours to join in your favourite activities. It’s also the peace of mind that comes with knowing your neighbours.

A community lifestyle lets you spend more time enjoying life with your friends and family, and less time worrying about maintenance of your house and garden. It’s about making sure your family time together is about quality experiences rather than helping organise your home.

Our villages combine the independence and security you desire, together with maintenance-free, friendly community living, all on one site. Plus they’re conveniently located with all amenities still close at hand. Shopping, public transport medical services are easy to access.

Affordability

Moving home can be daunting, especially when it comes to weighing up the benefits and initial and ongoing costs of ownership. People are often surprised by the affordability of retirement living compared with the expenses of home ownership such as maintenance, rates, and in-home care. Retirement living is often a lot more cost-effective, which can positively impact on your long term financial security in retirement.

Wellbeing. Welldoing.

Welldoing is the lifestyle you enjoy when you know your wellbeing is taken care of. It’s the feeling of the confidence to live the life you love, and appreciate family, friends and the simple things that bring you joy.

At Carinity welldoing is our philosophy. It’s our approach that is responsive to your choices, rather than expecting you to fit a pre-determined routine. It informs everything we do; from creating a vibrant retirement living community to taking care of residents’ health needs.

Central to our communities are our social and creative hubs with plenty of activities going on each week. Our residents create our community, regularly organising a full program of social activities for you to enjoy at your leisure – from arts and crafts to cards and crosswords, entertainment and exercise classes, neighbourhood coffee mornings and BBQs, and so much more. Choose to be as busy as you like knowing there’s always someone to share it with.

Discover a new lease of life as you become part of the active community – where you’ll always have your own space, and only be moments away from the laughter, leisure and life.
