Interim CEO’s message
As I did in our Spring 2022 edition of Belong, I am writing to you as the Interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Carinity. In mid-March, our long-standing CEO, Jon Campbell, left Carinity after more than a decade in the role.
Jon was an important part of building Carinity for 14 years. Appointed as CEO in 2009, he made significant contributions to the organisation, helping Carinity to deliver its services to the thousands of Queenslanders entrusted to our care.
Under Jon’s leadership, Carinity opened a number of new residential aged care communities and experienced strong growth in both our home care and education services.
I have been appointed on a short-term basis and will work with the management team to ensure Carinity’s services continue to operate as normal while the CEO recruitment process commences.
I am familiar with Carinity, having been a board member for 11 years and relieved in the CEO role last year when Jon took leave.
Please rest assured that all of us at Carinity remain fully focussed on delivering the highest quality care and service during this management transition.
We wish Jon and his family all the very best for the future and thank him for his service to our mission.
DAVID ANGELL, Interim Carinity CEO
