Government Supported Aged Care

Aged care for all financial situations

At Carinity, everyone is welcome regardless of their financial situation – your bank balance should never be a barrier to high quality aged care. We encourage partially supported and fully supported residents to apply for aged care in our communities.

If you’ve been advised to find partially supported, fully supported or concessional care, we’re here for you.

Aged care costs explained

If you are new to aged care, the fees and payments can seem overwhelming. When you’re looking into aged care, it’s important to keep in mind that the Australian Government may make a contribution to your aged care costs, depending on your financial situation. Many of our residents receive some degree of Government support, with some only paying the Basic Daily Care Fee, which is linked to the age pension.

While it can be complicated, the system is designed to be flexible to meet everyone’s differing needs and financial situation, and to support those who have limited financial assets or income.

You can find out more on out Aged Care Costs page, or if you have questions, feel free to call our Customer Service Team on 1300 109 109.
