A message from our CEO

As I read through the stories in this edition of Belong, I am reminded that what makes a community special is not simply its buildings, services, or achievements. It is the people. It is the friendships formed, the care shown, and the simple ways we help one another feel seen, valued, and included. Across Carinity, I see this sense of belonging being created every day through kindness, generosity, and genuine care.

Belonging matters deeply to all of us. It may be found in a friendly conversation over a cup
of tea, a familiar face arriving for a weekly visit, a staff member taking the time to listen, or a young person knowing that someone truly cares. These moments may seem small, but they can mean the world. They remind us that lives are often changed through steady kindness, a listening ear, and the comfort of knowing we are not alone.

This edition also reminds us of the lasting difference one life can make. We read about people and families whose generosity, service, and love for others have left a meaningful legacy. One
story that is especially close to my heart is that of Marjorie, one of our residents, whose life of service is truly inspiring.

I had the privilege of meeting Marjorie when she came to live at our Clifford House aged
care home in Wooloowin. I was amazed to hear about the many lives she touched during 60
years of caring for others. It is a great joy to know that our wonderful team at Clifford House now has the privilege of caring for Marjorie in her senior years.

At Carinity, we believe every person is precious and deserves to feel welcomed, supported, and loved. This belief is at the heart of all we do across aged care, education, disability support, and community services.

Thank you for being part of the Carinity community. Whether you are a resident, client, family member, supporter, volunteer, or staff member, you help make Carinity a place where people
are cared for, encouraged, and connected. Together, we continue to make a real and lasting difference in the lives of others.

Warm regards,
KEVIN GRIFFITHS
Carinity CEO
